Roleplay Server #1 changes tomorrow map to rp_cg_gtown_v01

Not just the items, but for some reason players are laggin a lot too. I was getting raped by Emo, and I couldn't do anyhting about it because he wasn't lagging, and I could barely open my items and walk.

A bit weird... I have no lag, at my point of view.. only sometimes it does, a big lag, but nothing else.

About items, my items are working really fine, don't know why you guys are saying that.

I joined other servers I play on such as deathmatch servers, and I noticed how the problem is there too. I thought it was only on Manni's and Manni and Berni's, but its everywhere for me. It may be off-topic, but every server I join into on the whole HL2DM universe, I get:

-Laggy games
-Cannot type in chat
-Switching to a weapon is difficult because something makes it switch back to the last weapon
-I walk forward but end up in other places (Mostly walk in a zig-zag)

Anybody know how to fix this? Not only can I not play on this server, I can't play on any! I've already re-installed the game, but the problem continous. If anyone knows how to fix this, please tell me, because it is very hard to play (And because simple noobs can kill me, I'm an easy target now )

Yup same here mate, especially on modded servers (RP, Puzzle, Surf).

First of all, check if someone in your network is downloading or uploading. If it doesn't work, restart your router. By the way, where are you from? Follow this step, goto Start, and execute "cmd" type this: "ping google.com" copy and paste here. It will PING at google.com and let me see how much ping do you have to that. If that doesn't work.. I will try to help you, but at steam.

1. Scan you computer. (With this I mean scan your computer for viruses, duh)
2. Close all unnecessary programs eating your internet speed.
3. Check steam, it likes to update whole bunch of games while you are in one.
4. Restart your router.
5. Close all web-pages you are in.
6. Move to Europe.
7. If some one else in your house is using internet, run into his room and kick his PC Case, grab his screen and throw it out of the window.
8. Pray.
9. Repeat last 8 steps.
10. What are you looking at? THERE IS NO STEP 10!

lol I couldnt connect to any server(any steam game) ok then i reinstalled steam,dL'd all games again i could play online for 1 and a half hours then again i cant play online
I'm either quitting steam or.....or....idk.

Always, it started a few days ago. First server I went into was Manni's and thats where it started. Ever since then, any server I go to is screwing with me.
