Don't use programs like that, they are mostly self trojans..

use Norton Antivir or Avira Antivir

Oh, really? If you used only old Norton versions and didnt used new versions like Norton 2010 then dont talk about that! Symantec is a leader in Antivirus Software! Norton 2010 is also best antivirus that was made in the last year. http://www.av-comparatives.org/images/stories/test/summary/summary2009.pdf
If you also just heard about norton something bad or something good you also cant talk much about that. Symantec - #1 in Antivirus Industry. Corporation made 6,15 Billions dollars in the 2009 fiscal year. You should check http://www.av-comparatives.org/. There are a lot of tests.
Avira is also good, if you dont want to waste your money, you can use Avira AntiVir.
Avast - this is a... hmm no comments... Never liked that programm, bad detection rate, it is slow, but yes, there is a free product also.

Norton sucks, takes too much resources. NOD32 for the win!

Yeah, Norton got a bad reputation because Old versions were very god damn slow.
And... Nod 32... Lol you made me laugh, thanks  ;D
You just have to look at Amazon like www.Amazon.com (Computers & Office, Software, Utilities & Security, look at Bestsellers) or Amazon.de (Choose Computer & Buro, then Software, then Antivirus & Internet Security, look at Bestsellers)
So i also can say that Kaspersky is not so bad to buy.
Lol master, you also didnt used Norton 2010! You should check this test: http://www.passmark.com/ftp/antivirus_10-performance-testing-ed4.pdf
You may dont like Norton just because i use it (yes i do!) But over 400 millions users have Norton as a security solution.
