Is it me or was there a f'ed up update?

ummm i am having problem with all the STEAM games (tf2, css, hl2dm,....)
everytime i die my screen stops at that point (as if it was an server lag) for 5-10 sec, untill i respawn.

Am i the only one with this problem or do you guys know something about this?

Ger:

Jedes mal wenn ich in den Spielen sterbe, bleibt der Bildschirm für 5-10 sec da stehen, als ob es ein Server lag war oder so, bis ich wieder respawne.

My latency is between 20 and 50 so that is not the problem....

from what i read in the inet i guess it is my av guard, i cant change the exceptions atm because i am not the prime user -_-

I had this problem once, and have it from time to time - but only on RP.
All I do is "retry" in the console and then its all fine :)

dest at least you can start the game my hl2dm starts in a windows and then close after the intro with the guy and a bullet in his eye

Sometimes its normal to have a little lag when the camera switch from firstperson to thirdperson but 10 secs seems a bit too long.

now it just open the window and close it fast .. the game worked well till yesterday but idk what i did

it all looks completely the same, only i thought you could see chat and at the end i was whriting stuff in the chat (but not sending, so i don't look like a dork :P )
you can see how long it takes for me to respawn, and understand why it is retarted -_-

Not to go offtopic, but that dude has a valve in his eye :)
HL2 he has a valve on the top of his head :)

Back to the topic: Right Click game name > Properties > Check integrity of game cache   ( FOR BOTH Omar and Destr).
