I have done that with dual Hanns-G HW192D LCD monitors on dual 6600GT cards before. It works, but it lags like the hell breaks loose. It was a few years ago, but lots of technology things are already updated, so you should have no problem running on dual or quad monitors with newer cards.

You are better off running on single monitor and using the other one for the desktop ( easier to alt-tabbing to do something on the other side while on your break from HL2DM.) :) ( Just a suggestion. )

unreal tournament <3

p.s. why bother buying 3D monitor since those old games you mentioned won't run as 3D at all. Save your money and get LED monitors with HDMI or Display Ports.

Use 64 bit dude.... If you use 32bit, you can only have a maximum of 3GB RAM i think...
And i preffer DVI more than HDMI on a computer screen, i dont know if its just me or its a common problem, i cant have the resolution on the screen i want with HDMI..

3D porn dude.... WTH?! xD

3D must be really kick-ass on a Full-HD Led Screen, playing Crysis 2 <3
and yeah 64 bit is the way to go.

Yeah. I never forgets my old 3DFX Voodoo3 2000 PCI running on 16meg without fan. That thing was heck hot, burning the PCB on the back after years of using without fan.

So yeah, Nutterland, i played on my friend's i7 950 with GTX570 pc, and it's freaking sweet. I'm still thinking of upgrading to maybe i5 from E7300, was told that the performance difference will be huge, especially with HD6770.

What power supply are you getting? I was on my Highlander PWR but I after getting my new gtx I had to change it and I wonder what to get now, I know that my highlander won't last long anymore, it's only 750W. I need a 1000W supply, but no one is yet to give me a tip what to get.
Also don't listen to the haters, they just envy :D
Good choice with getting SSD for system drive, bad idea taking an radeon, I am more of a Nvidia fanboy ;), haven't had a radeon since the old 9500 series :D

I was able to run Crysis 2 with highest performance settings (Extreme) in Singleplayer mode without a single lag and smooth gameplay.
In multiplayer I play with "Gamer" settings, because mp seems to need more performance.

My Hardware specs:

Core 2 Duo 6420 4 MB Cache
3,2 Gig DDR2 Ram (damn you mobo)
Nvidia Gefoce GTX 260 - 796 MB
WD VelociRaptor 10.000 rpm
Win7 x64
Power supply: 550W with manual PFC
FullHD Led-TFT (1920 x 1080)

Some parts of my hardware are already a few years old, but still runs Crysis2 smoothly :)

I recommend power supplies supporting "PFC" (Power Factor Correction) and overvoltage protection.
Those are a little bit more expensive, but your hardware will thank you (much longer life and thunders can't just break your PC).
Hardware like Ram and GFX-cards are really sensitive against power fluctuations.
