This is really boring, it's like a 7th thread about binds. Takes a form of a sinusoidal wave too, first - remove binds, when they've got removed it was a major vote to get them back - then remove again. It's back and forth, back and forth. One thing you guys don't get is - right now it's easy to bind, YOU know how to bind, when it's blocked, there will be one guy who's gonna keep on doing it - couse he found a "backdoor".

Then we will get over 9000 reports of illegal binders, but of course with all such cases, they will be supported with "No demo, BUT I HAZ Screenshot" / "OMG, my clan was there ask them!" / "Admins you noobs check THE CONSOLE!"... it's always like that. I didn't take part in the last thread (the one below this one) - cause you can't satisfy all players (the 'plox change map' threads are best example).

I am also not mentioning the difficulty which comes from actually changing the script to disable the binds, as I am not a coder - I don't know if it's a case of changing 'lulz_scripts' from 1 to 0, or is it editing 150 lines, that's what Chanz and Berni are good at. I am sure tho, that it takes the time (also it would be a slap for the root who coded 'useitem' command).

So, summing my speech up, that's my opinion, I am not voting, but I can already guess the answer will be "Remove the binds" - and if this (by some miracle powers passed, and roots changed it) succeeds, then - mark my words - in few months / weeks we will get a thread saying "Bring back binds, my super doorhack / SLP is useless :(".

"The individual may be remembered, but the organization persists and thrives. A single artist, a single general, a single hero or a single villain may all die, but it is impossible to kill a people, a nation, an idea - except when that idea has grown weak and is overpowered by one that is stronger."

World change... The past is the past and we have to live in the present. Old players leave the place to new players that might not have the same way to play and ideas as old players. That's why there is some many thread about binds. Cause during 5 month there will be insane dmer that loves binding, and then new roleplayer that hate binds.

Yeah, and that vote will be probably ignored. I vote for YESH anyway. I would make a thread like "BRING BACK ICITY AHAH!" but that would be too hilarious. I hope that vote passes at all, but "chances are very... slim"
