Suggestions, please.
« on: 05. October 2011, 10:22:20 »
Hello ladies and gentlemen, I need help due to my lack of creativity and patience in finding some good games, Survival games or horror games by chance but then again I dont care much just please give me some good titles that are worth the time...I've tried Penumbra and it's sequel Black plague but as usual my magnificent Vista says "No." and well that's a story I'd rather not get into right now. Btw I don't care about graphics or the release date, whether its from WW2 or it hasn't been made yet as long as it's got potential and a nice story to back it up. Thanks in advance.

My suggestions:

Fallout 3 / Fallout New Vegas / Witcher 2 / Dead Island / Mass Effect / Metro 2033 / S.T.A.L.K.E.R / Borderlands / Deus Ex or maybe the new game Rage.
All have RPG elements + good and long story.

Other game tips.
Mirrors Edge (Good story with Jump&Run Style)
Limbo (short but good puzzles)
From Dust (nice sandbox game)
Hydrophobia:Prophecy (a bit too short but has some nice water effects)
Singularity (Story about time travel and stuff, you have some special power with your hand, you can alter people and interior and more)
Legendary (Epic story about myths and legends, you have also some special power with your hand)

Hope i gave some good impressions.

/EDIT: For the most of them i've got some screenshots in my profile, take a look for maybe see style of game and more.

Played most of those and Deus Ex is one of my favourite games of all time, Too bad I can't play the newest one though...Anyway I'll look into Legendary and Singularity. Thanks for the suggestions and more are always welcome!

Borderlands dosn't have what I would call a " good and long story " even if I love to play it. Its more like : Go find dat part of the key plist. Ofc its holded by some super fat pro monster ^^^^^^^^
But I agree that it's a freaking good game.

I get the feeling you already had your hands at bioshock 1 and 2. They seem to fit in on the Penumbra tale of games.

Uh, Witto's not speaking that language. And if I didn't did this before, I recommend Mass Effect, Bioshock, nice game: Delta Force Black Hawk Down - Team Sabre. Most of these are old, but I still keep re-playing them.

Cookie extermination, The lost baguette world ( Kinda good if you like platform ) and also, my favorite game : The Baguette Slayer. Best game 3V3R !!!!
