  I know you shouldnt reply any thread which last post is some months ago....but I was looking a bit in old threads and there are some gamethreads or threads like: What was your first game? etc. where it would be interresting to continue with them.

Those game topics what you told about is timeless (imo).
I think it's no problem to post there..

It's more ment for topics, which are outdated.
for example:
someone opened a thread in 2008, called: "Hey, I'm Huli!"
another one answered in 2011: "Oh, hey Huli, welcome in our community!"

or even July, 2010: "Hey, you love that song?"
answer, Oct, 2010: "Yes, I love it!"

I'm not sure, if that is correct, but it makes sense
